The gorgeous Tina O’Brien is best known for her long standing role as Sarah Louise Platt in ITV1's Coronation Street- where her character Sarah was key to numerous main stories in the show including shock teenage pregnancy , serial killer Richard Hillman's reign of terror and finding out her boyfriend Todd was gay.
13 year old Sarah's pregnancy with baby Bethany won Tina 'Best Storyline' at the British Soap Awards, to add to her award of Best Newcomer at the National Television Awards, and the TV Quick Awards. She was also shortlisted numerous times for sexiest female titles.
Tina left the show in 2007 and had some time away from acting to concentrate on her own family and became a mum to beautiful daughter Scarlett (now 4 years old)
In 2010 Tina was back on TV screens starring in the sixth series of BBC school drama Waterloo Road as Bex Fisher. In the same year she also appeared in The Secret Diaries of Miss Anne Lister, in which she played the character of Miss Browne, a role which required her first on-screen lesbian kiss.
Later in 2010, she starred in the newly acclaimed television drama The Accused written by Jimmy McGovern.
She has also enjoyed playing Cinderella and Snow White in major pantomines at the Opera House in Manchester.
Outside of the acting arena Tina has starred in the show Strictly Come Dancing and is a favourite of the nations press having featured in numerous magazine interviews and stories for OK, Hello, Heat ,Cosmopolitan, Saturday Express Magazine, The Sun, Daily and Sunday Mirror and many more.
